African Community Fund Opens Founding Subscription Round to Institutional Partners
The African Community Fund (ACF) has opened its Founding Subscription Round, inviting eligible institutions to join as Founding Members under ACF-DIR-003, effective 13 April 2026.
The Round is open to institutional and corporate subscribers across Africa's key industrial and financial sectors, offering early participants a defined package of incentives in exchange for capital committed at the Fund's founding stage. The Round closes upon the earlier of the admission of 500 Founding Members or 24 months from its effective date.
Founding Partner Tier
Subscribers committing 10,000 or more shares qualify for the Founding Partner tier, which carries:
- A rebate credit equal to 6% of the initial subscription payment, applied toward future capital calls;
- A full waiver of onboarding, administrative, and processing fees;
- An invitation to the Founding Advisory Forum, a consultative body shaping the Fund's initial Program priorities;
- Expedited review — within 30 business days — of the Founding Partner's first loan application under an approved Program;
- Permanent "Founding Member" recognition in the Fund's Digital Share Registry.
Statements
"The Founding Subscription Round is designed to bring institutional partners into the Fund's architecture while it is still being built — not after the fact."
— Chair, African Community Fund
