Executive Summary

This Program invests in the preservation and sustainable utilization of Africa's cultural heritage. By financing community-owned cultural sites, archives, and tourism initiatives, the Fund supports moral and cultural development while generating dignified livelihoods. Projects must prioritize community stewardship, avoid commodification, and ensure that economic benefits flow directly to local custodians of heritage.

Program Objectives

  1. Preserve 50+ culturally significant sites through community-managed restoration.
  2. Create digital archives of oral histories, languages, and traditional knowledge.
  3. Develop sustainable tourism models that respect cultural integrity and local consent.
  4. Train community members in heritage management, conservation, and interpretation.
  5. Generate revenue streams that fund ongoing preservation without external dependency.
