Executive Summary

This Program invests in foundational health infrastructure that strengthens community resilience and moral well-being. By financing clinics, water systems, and telemedicine platforms owned or operated by member entities, the Fund ensures that health improvements are sustainable, locally governed, and aligned with cooperative values. Projects must demonstrate clear community benefit and avoid speculative healthcare models.

Program Objectives

  1. Provide reliable health access to 1 million individuals in underserved communities.
  2. Finance 100+ community-owned clinics or health posts with sustainable operational models.
  3. Deploy clean water and sanitation infrastructure serving 500,000 households.
  4. Integrate telemedicine capabilities via the ACF Programmatic API for remote consultation.
  5. Train 5,000 community health workers through member-affiliated institutions.

Target Beneficiaries

  • Rural and peri-urban communities lacking adequate health infrastructure.
  • Member banks and cooperatives operating community health initiatives.
  • Local NGOs and civil society organizations delivering preventative care.
  • Community health workers and traditional healers engaged in formalized care networks.

Eligible Projects

  1. Construction or renovation of community clinics managed by cooperative entities.
  2. Installation of solar-powered water purification and distribution systems.
  3. Deployment of telemedicine hardware and software accessible via ACF secure API.
  4. Financing for medical equipment purchases by member-affiliated health providers.
  5. Development of community health worker training and certification programs.
